In 2005, the concept of small town websites helped address the need in our rural communities for accessible cost effective online local promotion of who we are, when our events are happening, and of the employment and training opportunities available.

Hello, my name is Liz Hill. I grew up along the Nebine creek to the east of Cunnamaulla, an ex-Bollon bush nurse, ex-community co ordinator.  Living on a farm in the Nindigully district gives me authentic experience, insight and connections to promote our region through these websites. I am passionate about rural Australia and love being able to share information with people of the South West QLD communities.

Adavale Rodeo, Gymkhana and Bikekhana

9 April 2021

The fun kicks off for the annual Adavale Rodeo, Challenge, Bikekhana and Gymkhana. The best and bravest cowboys around will be battling to stay on for that eight seconds and claim the prize at the rodeo on Saturday afternoon, then after you can let your hair down and kick up some dust on the dance floor. Horse and motorbike skills are tested in gymkhana events throughout the weekend. Camping, showers and toilets available at the Adavale Sport and Recreation grounds. There is a licensed bar and great food available all weekend. This event just gets better each year! See you in Adavale. For more information and a full program of events contact Dale Chicken on the phone number provided. Due to current advice on public gatherings, please contact the host of this event to confirm it is proceeding as planned.
